As a mother of four that stays home on a very tight budget I have found that I feel on most days like I am ten different people. So, in order to keep my sanity I have decided to start a blog talking about my daily tasks, success stories and failures to rise above. Have a blessed day!

No time to be sick!
Instead of cleaning up the house, making dinner..etc I am sitting here listening to music while I blog. I'm frustrated because it is about the only thing I have enough energy to do. James has picked up the slack for me the past two days. He even took off work :/ I'm not too thrilled about him missing work however I am thankful because we have four children to take care of and I just can't do it lately. I'm used to getting EVERYTHING done by the time he gets up for work. He really helped with the kids and their school work today. The kids are already ahead by about two and a half weeks! Makes me one happy lady :)
On another note I was able to pack up the kids clothes for Alabama. We are leaving to go see James' family since we couldnt go earlier this summer. We may not really have a chance to go back anytime after this too because we are praying God will allow James the opportunity to get some part time jobs. I don't really think his family understands that we are trying to get out of debt so that we can actually live our life with nothing hanging over us.
We have actually been working on this for a little while but we are slacking in getting ahead. We have used the extra money James has gotten for little things here and there but also some big bills we needed to pay off. I will be glad when we don't owe anybody anything and we can truly be in peace!
I need to finish getting ready to go to Alabama tomorrow. I'm sure I will blog tomorrow :)

A New Start
Well, I am a little late on the "blog" wagon but here it goes. I post stuff all the time on FB but wanted something more to be able to go back and look at. I know that I will still need to save a paper book probably to remember the cute stuff or funny things my kids did or my husband has done. They are the reason I am doing this. Jacob is already nine years old. hard for me to believe how fast time goes by. James and I started dating almost 11 years ago (next month) and within that time we have had four children together. I told him yesterday as we sat at dinner by ourselves (all kids were in bed! yippee!) that it was times like that I still felt like we were teenagers, yet felt so old too. I can't even begin to write the half of everything we as a couple have been through but I will say that there is nobody else I would rather go through life with. We have made each other mad, cry, embarrassed, and hurt one another. We have also been each others rock, shoulder to cry on, laughed at the dumbest things and realized that THIS is what life is all about. We have vowed to keep our focus on God and remember He is the reason we are able to get through this crazy life together!
Today has been just a crazy day. My best friend Ashley had go go out of town and I got to keep her lil babies. I don't get to spend much time with them and they live not too far away yet the business of life seems to get in the way. I am SO thrilled to spend precious time with them. It is especially cute to see Jacob helping with the little things...that actually add up to big things. Jacob actually changed Samuels diaper today! I mentioned his age earlier..Here are the rest. Cera is 7, Ezra is 3 and Sam is 4 months.
I have started homeschooling this year with the realization that my babies are not babies anymore and my time is VERY short with them. My ultimate goal as a mother is to raise my children in a home that loves Jesus. For some people that may seem so cliche but it is my reality. I want them to know that it is ok to make mistakes but if you do to go back to God.
My goal with this blog is to capture part of their lives through my eyes..who knows someday they may read this. I love my children more than I love my own life..they are my everything and I am so thankful for their daddy who couldnt have been a better choice for me.
